| Fields of Provence series As a young girl, Isabelle would wake each morning from my country home to look out and see the changing colors of the fields. Especially in summertime, the colors would radiate throughout the landscape. From the purples of lavender, to the reds of the poppies, to the yellows and browns of the sunflowers... the variety of colors, the range of hues, and the saturation of light could not be described with words. With this series, I capture the essence of color and shading that radiates from the fields. The texture within each landscape is the key as the depth and contrast help illustrate its natural beauty.
