How to commission a painting? |
As you review the paintings on this website, you may find that the one that you like is no longer
available. Or there maybe a painting that you love, but the sizing is wrong.
That's where commissions come in. You can order one specially created for you directly from the
artist. A significant portion of Isabelle Dupuy artwork is created based on commission work for
her clients. It is a great way to get the colors, sizes, and themes based on your input.
First Step: Decide on the size of the painting you need
First, think about...
- Where do you plan to hang your new painting?
- What size works best for you? Do you need a portrait or a landscape orientation? A portrait is
vertical, taller than wider and a landscape is horizontal, wider than taller. As each canvas is
custom made in Texas, there is virtually no limit to the sizes that you can request. You can view

-How much money do you plan to invest? Isabelle Dupuy artworks are available at almost any
budget. Of course size does impact the price.
Second Step: Select what you love
-You can browse through the website to view an extensive collection of Isabelle's work.
-You can select one painting or elements of several paintings that caught your eyes on the website
or if you have a photo of a landscape that you would like Isabelle to paint, a memory from a trip,
or your house; Isabelle can paint you a unique painting combining all the elements you like into
one original just for you!
-After the details of the painting have been decided, you provide a deposit of 50% of the amount
via a secure credit card system (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) to enable Isabelle to start
the painting.
Third Step: Approve your commission
-After about 3-4 weeks, Isabelle will email you a photo of the finished painting for you to
approve. Your satisfaction is important, so if there any modifications you would like to do, this
will be the time to discuss.
-After the painting has been approved, you will pay the remaining balance via the same secure
credit card system and Isabelle will crate your painting in a custom box. The painting will be
carefully packed and shipped directly to you via Fedex. A few days later, you will be able to hang
your new Isabelle Dupuy creation to enjoy!
And that's it! Isabelle is ready to start on your commission so please don't hesitate to contact her
and decide what you would like her to paint. Soon you'll be enjoying your special original piece
