The Beauty of Provence is often described by its flowers and the movement they make as they dance and play in the wind. For several years, Isabelle has studied and refined how she looks and illustrates these treasures of southern France.

Blossoming in Water

As an artist, Isabelle have long enjoyed the beauty that comes from flowers blossoming in the still water. As Isabelle began to study, observe, and photograph these wild water lilies in the fall, winter and spring, she realized how much of a Pandora’s box they are in terms of shape, texture, color, and lighting.

Landscapes

Deep in the heart of Provence are the rolling hills, steep mountain peaks and flowering open valleys. These are the landscapes filled with true personality and character. Whether it's the open fields or deep valley streams, Isabelle adds her depth and texture to help bring the background alive.

Trees and Foliage

Nothing tells the season better than the trees and foliage. With the intense variety of the trees in France, Isabelle’s discovery of colors, textures, and shades shows no limits. Browns, oranges, yellows and greens of every character glisten from the foliage telling their own story and character. The texture in trees allows Isabelle to craft the stark contrast of shades reflecting from natural light.
